project overview
Ettes Society is a streetwear brand rooted in Asian heritage and modern urban culture. The clothing and visual identity are designed to honor where you come from, emphasizing that what you wear is an extension of who you are. The logo is inspired by a traditional Chinese lucky knot, symbolizing connection, continuity, and good fortune. One of the key garments draws from traditional Asian silhouettes, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. This project began as a branding assignment for a fictional company, but it quickly became a personal exploration. I used the brief as an opportunity to dive into something I care deeply about: fashion design, cultural storytelling, and the ways clothing can express identity.
I created a series of detailed technical designs in Adobe Illustrator, using the project as a space to experiment with form, proportion, and garment‑based composition. This process strengthened my technical workflow in Illustrator and allowed me to merge branding with apparel‑focused visual storytelling.
